Dollar stores can have great appeal! I mean, of course…everything is $1!!! But how do you know what is even worth your dollar! I can tell you that everything at a dollar store is NOT worth even a dollar! But how do you know what is a good buy? Want to know some of the best products that are at Dollar Tree? Come shop with me and check out my favorites!

1. Cotton balls- They are 100% cotton and there are 100 jumbo balls in a bag!

2. Flossers- There are roughly 60 in a bag (40 in the kid flosser bags). These run closer to $4 at other stores. Great price at Dollar Tree!

3. Novelty Band-Aids- These are not always readily available and the themes change but if you find the cute ones that are in the child themes these can be great for stocking stuffers, Easter basket stuffers, birthday party favors, and more!

4. Pregnancy and Ovulation Tests- These are great! I can tell you from first-hand experience that they are reliable and can save you so much money! If you like to test a lot I highly recommend using these!

5. Spices- I know you have probably heard this one before but spices are always a great deal at the Dollar Tree. Even better than the regular 2.5-ounce size, is if you find the larger size!

6. Frozen Fruit- If you are fortunate enough to have a cold food section at your Dollar Tree then you are very lucky! I always buy their packages of frozen fruit. There are several different mixes to choose from and there are no artificial sweeteners added which is very important to me. These are great for smoothies and baking.

7. Frozen French Fries- Another frozen food item I always buy at the Dollar Tree are their frozen french fries. I like to have these on hand for a quick side with burgers or steak. I have tried several of the varieties they sell (steak fries, shoestring, etc) and they are all good!

8. Furlani Texas Toast- This is a new frozen food item that I have only seen the last two times I was there. This box for $1 has 6 of the large slices of garlic toast!

9. Rice- You can get a 2 lb bag of rice for $1 at Dollar Tree. Just make sure you get the 2 lb bag because that is a good deal!

10. Gardening Gloves- I am not one to keep my gloves year after year. Let’s face it.. they have been mingling with the dirt and all of its creatures and whatnot. I like buying a fresh new pair at the beginning of the season. For a dollar, there is no guilt in that!

11. Kitty Litter Scoop- Just like the gardening gloves, I can not hold on to these things very long. I have no problem buying a scoop for a dollar, using it for a bit, and then tossing it.

There really are so many other super buys at the Dollar Tree. They recently added some great dishes and glassware. You have to keep looking for all of the new buys. Plus, as always they have great seasonal items.
