Taco seasoning is a staple in so many households for so many recipes. As someone who likes to strictly stick to a grocery budget, I was perfectly fine buying the inexpensive packets of taco seasoning. My problem with those was not the price but rather the taste. I found them all to be way too spicy! We are not a family that likes spicy foods. So I set out to make my own taco seasoning where I can control the amount of spices that go into it. Therefore, the end product is not only better tasting, according to my family, but healthier because I can control these various spice amounts. Oh and did I mention it is also more cost effective!

1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
